LEARNING METHOD

THEORY: Before starting the hands-on practice of the massage, (in this case the “bowls-on”), it is important that you are familiar with the effects of sound and music: the resonance, harmonics, vibrations, waves, tone, volume, tempo, harmony, etc. You should also be familiar with the effects this sound massage has on the body on different levels (hearing, cerebral, anatomical and energy). In order to explain the energy system that is important during the singing bowl massage, we will explain it using the energy theory of Tibetan Medicine,  describing the Chakras, energy points, etc. You will also learn various diagnosis methods such as intuition, hearing and energy. The first part of the course covers the theoretic aspects that  give you a rich foundation for practicing the Tibetan singing bowl massage.

PRACTICE: In this section you will find several videos describing the Tibetan Singing Bowl Massagestep-by-step. Every step includes an explanatory text (describing the massage technique, the application manner, the benefits and effects, the bowls used, etc.), an illustration with the direction and placement of the bowls, and a video clip where you can see exactly how the technique is performed.

VIDEO LECTURES  & INTERVIEWS: In addition to the theory and practice, this course is full of videos with interviews, master´s classes given by famous teachers, pictures, illustrations and all the material necessary to facilitating the understanding of the Tibetan Singing Bowl Massage.

Testimonials

“I have been a massage therapist for 16 years. This was the most comprehensive and well thought out course I have ever taken. Its obvious that the creators put their hearts and souls into it.” – Deborah, Dill, LMT.

“I have really enjoyed both courses (Tibetan singing bowl massage and Indian head massage) I recently finished with Massage Around the World. I found them to be very well organized and professional. The material was clear and I felt they were well worth it! I will be looking forward to taking more courses with them in the future and highly recommend. Any seasoned therapist will find good content here and will recognize ethical procedures as well as terminology. Also, a great way for beginners to get professional and accurate information as well! Also, if you need assistance, you will receive it, and it will be friendly and positive! Thank you” – Shawna Timmerman, LMT.

“I can’t wait to start practicing! Very informative and inspiring. Thank you!” – Karisa Strankman, LMP.

“This course is so rare and unique so I was so surprised to find that it is presented well, very practical yet giving you enough background history, theories and interesting supporting materials, giving us a bigger and better picture of the potential healing quality of this modality.” – Dian Kartikasari, Massage therapist.

“Very well put together, loved every minute.” – Sarah Holbrook.

“Above my expectations. I enjoyed the interviews with different practitioners.” – Licensed Massage Therapist, USA.

“Massage Around the World’s Tibetan Singing Bowl online course is beautifully produced. This course offers a substantial introductory foundation to principles of sound and the application of these principles to the use of Tibetan singing bowls either as a stand alone treatment or an enhancement to massage therapy or bodywork. The demonstration videos are straightforward and easy to follow. Unobstructed camera angles allow the viewer clear sight lines, and the sounds of the bowls are high quality. Informative interviews with international long-time practitioners of the methods deepen the learning experience. Overall, Tibetan Singing Bowl Massage is an outstanding online course.” – Lisa Mertz, LMT, PhD.

“The content, format and presentation was excellent and informative!” – Antonio Sieira, Psychologist.

“This has been an enjoyable and highly inspirational course. I m very excited to begin sharing this with my clients! Thank you so much!” – Melanie D Blalock, LMT.

“I think the course was great, it was a nice mixture of all types of learning.” – Casey Saunders.

“Loved this course! I found very informative and made me want to find workshop to go to so I can give and receive this work! I loved that it came from a traditional back ground, using the old bowls versus the newly mass produced bowls, very well balanced, I found the hardest part to be the sound and music part simply because it has been so long since i have studied any kind of music!” – Hollie Tew, Massage Therapist.

“I highly recommend this course. I learned much more than I thought I would. I am very satisfied.” – Venecia Rickenbacker, Hypnotherapist.

“I have studied and used various types of sound therapy. This class opened up a whole new realm to me. The class is very well organized and practical. It is a good mix of theory and very practical demonstrations. The thing I liked the best was how many different options of how to place, strike and use the bowls there were. This enables an intelligent, intuitive therapist to choose among the options and individualize the treatment for the client’s needs.” – Kimberly Burnham, PhD Integrative Medicine.

“This course gives an overview of the theory behind sound healing with some interesting supporting material. The techniques are demonstrated in clear videos and overall the course is informative. I enjoyed learning some new techniques that I will use in my practice.” – Nick Tischler, Sound healer.

“The Tibetan Singing Bowl Massage I online course has been a very helpful addition to my studies of sound healing therapy. It is very well organized, designed to hold the student’s interest while learning, and excellent as a beginner’s course in Tibetan Singing Bowl Massage. It provides very good overall theory related to sound healing in general. I would recommend this course to massage therapists and acupuncturists interested in adding Tibetan Singing Bowl Massage to their practice.” – Gloria Provitola, LMT, Acupuncture, TCM.
